By accessing our website, programs, events, or publications, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. National Health Action Force Nepal (NHAFN) is a registered, youth-led public health non-governmental organisation operating under DAO Regd. No. 230-2080/81, SWC No. 56573, with Tax Exemption No. 220, based in Tinkune, Kathmandu, Nepal.
These Terms apply to all individuals, organisations, volunteers, partner institutions, and visitors who interact with NHAFN through its website, community programs (including Swastha Saans Nepal, Project Spandan, Project Sambad, and other initiatives), events, publications, social media channels, or any formal collaboration. Use of NHAFN's resources constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
NHAFN operates exclusively for public health advocacy, community education, and health equity promotion across Nepal. All programs are non-commercial in intent. Content, resources, and services provided by NHAFN are for informational and community benefit purposes only and do not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Individuals requiring clinical guidance should consult a licensed healthcare provider.
3. Website Use and Acceptable Conduct
Users agree to access and use the NHAFN website in good faith and for lawful purposes only. The following are strictly prohibited:
All content published by NHAFN including blog articles, infographics, reports, program materials, training documents, and branding elements remains the intellectual property of NHAFN or its credited contributors. Non-commercial sharing with proper attribution is permitted. Any other use requires express written permission from NHAFN's leadership.
NHAFN's registered tagline "Advocate. Educate. Transform." and associated branding may not be reproduced or adapted without authorisation.
Individuals participating in NHAFN programs, health camps, awareness workshops, or capacity-building initiatives are expected to conduct themselves respectfully, follow facilitator guidelines, and accurately represent their participation. Volunteers must adhere to NHAFN's Code of Conduct and may not act on behalf of NHAFN in any official capacity without express authorisation. Participation certificates and letters issued by NHAFN are non-transferable and must not be altered or misrepresented.
Research and data collection activities conducted under NHAFN's programs follow applicable ethical guidelines and, where required, obtain clearance from relevant authorities such as the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC). Participation in research or surveys is voluntary. Collected data is handled confidentially and used solely for the stated public health or program improvement purposes. Participant data will not be sold, shared with commercial entities, or disclosed without consent except as required by law.
NHAFN is a tax-exempt organisation (Tax Exemption No. 220) and accepts donations strictly for its registered public health mandate. Donations are non-refundable and will be allocated across NHAFN's operational categories: Healthcare Services, Community Outreach, Capacity Building, and Operations and Administration. NHAFN maintains transparent financial records and reserves the right to allocate funds in the manner best serving its mission.
Institutional partnerships with NHAFN are formalised through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) or written agreements specifying the scope, responsibilities, and duration of collaboration. Partners may not use NHAFN's name, logo, or affiliation to claim endorsement of products, political positions, or activities outside the agreed scope. NHAFN reserves the right to withdraw from partnerships that conflict with its public health mission or ethical standards.
NHAFN makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information shared through its platforms and programs. However, NHAFN does not accept liability for decisions made on the basis of information accessed through its website, publications, or events. External links provided on the website are for informational purposes; NHAFN is not responsible for third-party content. NHAFN shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its resources.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Kathmandu. NHAFN reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on the NHAFN website with the revised effective date. Continued use of NHAFN's platforms or participation in its programs following any revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
